I create original oil paintings using a variety of mediums, as well as enhanced giclee.
I have been creating fine art for over a decade after attending formal art training and an early retirement from a fufilling career involving social work. My former career still influences my art as I continue to be fascinated with human experience and interaction.
It is important to me that my work is engaging as well as beautiful. I consider my work successful when it touches a part of your heart. I treasure that creative process! Therefore, I have specialized in commissioned oil paintings inspired by an image of your choice. I also paint non-commissioned works as well as enhanced giclee. Many of the pieces displayed on this site are examples of previously commissioned works. Most of those pieces have been acquired as dedications to personal journeys, travel, events, places, or to celebrate love! Additionally, I find inspiration when painting cities and natural areas that I visit around the globe.
